Today it’s the Schlock and Roll Hall of Fame. Five years ago, it was a highly problematic institution - in-clubby, haphazard, inconsistent - but it retained some psychic connection to the weird amalgamation of folk and blues and whatever else that rock was made from, and also the fuck-you attitude that characterized the best of it along the way. The evolution of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is now complete. The inductees - Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and the Spinners - have been added below. The 2023 induction ceremony was broadcast on Disney+ on Friday, Nov. It has been updated and revised with continuing interviews in the years since.
